This is the American Civil War mod V1, the mod uses the "Age of False Innocence" single player mod as a base, so a big thank you goes to Shedzorz and Swadian Man at Arms for their work. If you wish to play as the Confederates you need to join the Vaegirs, all of the other factions represent the union. Mercenaries are either union infantry or union cavalry, all of the lords, counts, Kings etc are dressed as union officers, except the Vaegirs who are Confederates. The NPC companions are all dressed as union officers, so if you want to change them you'll have to fight the looters, robbers, bandits, sea raiders etc, to get additional confederate uniforms and equipment, as they are all dressed as confederate deserters. Please bare in mind that this is V.1 and additional updates will be forthcoming, if you wish to make reasonable constructive critism please feel free to do so on the Taleworlds forum tread. Also, if you'd like to help develop the mod further please feel free to add your content, just ask via PM.

INSTRUCTIONS- Included in the download are some Civil war Hair and beards BRF files, this will remove the medieval hair and beards from the game, to do this you must remove these files from the demo and place them in your NATIVE folder, remember to make a back up of your original NATIVE hair and beards BRF files. American Civil War Mod v1.4 (Fixed)
This is the 4th installment of the ACW mod and has many improvements on the first one, there are many new uniforms, including Officers and NCO's, a map of the USA c 1860 is now in game, the factions and game characters are keeping with the period. There is a backlog of additional content to put in game, more weapons, uniforms, factions including malitias, bandits, outlaws, new animations, however these will just have to wait for the next update. There are one or two very minor bugs in this version, that we know of, such as the wrong boots on one or two uniforms, other than that its good to go. A lot of people have helped and contributed towards this and we should be grateful to all of them. Hinkel, Poomtang, Azrooh, Tessius, Durnius, Gabrilduro, Dellivils being just some of the guys who've helped. The next version will inlude a complete overhall of all the weapons in game, coupled with more uniforms and increased factions. If you have any critisms or comments, pease address them on the Taleworld forums and not here. If you'd like to help in any way with this mod and make it just that little bit better we love to hear from you.

This is (hopefully) a fixed version of the mod, since everyone was experiencing so many problems with the previous upload. Please give feedback on the forums or in the comments as to whether or not this version is working properly.
