The famine ravaged our land with wars to follow
My family's known the bitterness that's hard to swallow
They survived all cruelties during the course of my birth
Growing up with no friends can not deny me my worth
Little faith I have in friend man usually confide in
My pride comes before anything to the point it's my skin
Few kids to talk to I channelled my eagerness into my melody
It shows me the way Man is expected to remain their fidelity
There is one day I met a lute playing bard
He says life shouldn't be many times as hard
He knows a new world that lies far and distant
Rich in love and food the land's more persistent
In this world I was born in the rank and file
Over there One is lord if he's put through trial
