在启动骑砍时,点击“配置” -〉“图像” -〉“渲染方式” 一项就可以变更DX7 / DX9。
When starting MB, click Configure-> Video -> Render Method, and you can change between DX7 / DX9 here.
如果你还没试过,现在就可以尝试一下DX7、看看他能让你的游戏变得多流畅(以及变流畅的代价——画质下降)
If you haven't done so before, try to apply DX7 and start the vanilla MB warband / original native and see how much it will speed up your game (and the compenstation of graphical quality)

If you feel like DX7 is your thing, please continue reading, because Viking Conquest Reforged does NOT allow DX7 by default (you can choose DX7, but once you enter the game it forces to DX9 anyways), this is also the purpose of this thread, let us know how to make Viking Conquest accept DX7.
正文1, 强制DX7 - Main1, force DX7
找到维京的文件夹(骑砍本身的文件夹-> Modules -> Viking Conquest), 然后重命名/移动以下文件 &文件夹:
Find Viking Conquest's root folder (Mount blade's root folder -> Modules -> Viking Conuqest), then rename / move away the following files & folders:
GLShaders
GLShadersOptimized
fx_configuration.h
mb.fx
postFX.fx
postFX.txt
然后将module.ini的 supports_directx_7 选项,由零改成 1
For, supports_directx_7 = 0 in module.ini, change it to supports_directx_7 = 1
最后,确认开始游戏时的“配置” -〉“图像” -〉“渲染方式” 一项是DX7,就可以开始游戏了。
Last, make sure the Configure-> Video -> Render Method option is set to DX7, then start the game.
进入游戏后,成功的话,你会发现整个地图变成雪白色,地上和海上都是白色,天上还有漂浮的黑色的长方形几何物体。
After entering the game, if success, you will note that the entire map becomes "frozen", that is, both the ground white and ocean is white, and there are black boxes floating in the sky.
在这种情况下,你会注意到游戏的已经变得比之前更流畅了,但是这个画质是在是不堪入目,因此请看正文2.
Right now you should noticed that the game is already having better performances than before, but this trade off (the graphic glitches) is really unbearable, so please read on.
正文2, 修正材质 - Main2, repair textures
这一步没什么好说的,因为写出来太麻烦,这是改好了的文件。请备份原文件然后把以下文件放到维京的资源文件夹里(骑砍本身的文件夹-> Modules -> Viking Conquest -> Resource 文件夹)
Not much to say here, because it's a pain in the rectal area to write out the whole thing, please just take the modified files and put it in Modules -> Viking Conquest -> Resource. Remeber to back the original files.

两个文件放置完毕后,地图的水和草地就会回到原色了。至此游戏可以正常的在DX7模式下运行了。
After placing the two files, the map's water and ground will be back to their original color. At this point you will be able to play the game normally under DX7.
正文3, 减少战场人数 - Main 3, reduce battle size
维京把原版的人数设置直接翻了5倍,也就是说原版最低的30人,到维京即使150人。
Viking Conquest multipled warband's battle size by a factor of 5, which means when the setting is 30 in warband, it becomes 150 in Viking Conquest.

Warping up above, changing to DX7 and decreasing the battle size by x5 will undoubtfully raise the game's performance and make it run much smoother.
