注意:开发本模组的灵感来源于骑兵与滑膛枪MOD,我总是因为战团版本的滑膛枪模组中一直没有建立属于自己的帝国的功能而感到烦恼。大体上来说,这个模组是我能找到的最完整的和最大的MOD的整合了,增加了数款新的滑膛枪和军服,给人一种全新的外表和感受。
自从2013年4月25日第一版开始:
特性:
-加入外交MOD和很多外交MOD自带的特性(很长的名单,去看看他们的网站就知道了)
-POD模组(?)和很多该模组自带的特性(也是很长的名单,去看看他们的网站吧)
-同伴MOD融入了该模组,给出更多可使用的关于滑膛枪部队的命令。
成为海贼王卡拉迪亚之王吧!
所有原版骑马与砍杀的游戏选项和设定都被保留,所以你可以在这个MOD里面创建属于自己的王国!
尤其是加入了同伴MOD之后,一个王国的初始会变得更加写实。你可以将你的同伴放到不同的权利位置上。
这是一种全新形式的战争!
滑膛枪彻底改变了游戏的规则,胜利来自于领导力和部队力量的充分应用,而不再是依靠骑士阶级和领主。
武器和装备:
本剧本加入了原版没有的针对4种职阶的新武器。从1.1版本开始后每种步枪/滑膛枪都有独属的枪声。
步兵火枪
这种中程的火枪在威力和精准度中掌握着很好的平衡,而且还可以在必要的时候转换为相对可靠的近身武器刺刀(刺伤)和相比稍微逊色的枪托(钝器)。按X键可以转换武器模式,而因为火枪的长度而无法在马背上使用。
散兵火枪
这种慢速远程火枪可以在很远的距离也达到致命的效果,但是装弹很费时间。作为目前最精准的火器这种枪很明显是为了精准射手和猎兵准备的。
由于该火枪的长度它无法再马背上使用,而且因为装弹的机制很繁琐,所以使用者必须站在原地不动才能完成重新装弹。
手枪
这种短小精悍的火器大多是被精英单位或骑兵单位使用。它的射程短,准度差,但是换弹速度确十分迅速。
卡宾枪
这种中型的火枪基本是将步兵火枪枪管缩短后,方便马上使用而提供给骑兵单位的,但是比手枪更加精确,也更致命。因为该枪喷丸室制作比手枪更坚固,所以能够使用更多的火药,也就意味着更大的威力。这种武器多数时候会与其他近身武器一同出现在装备栏里面。
装备:
每个阵营都有独属的装备,一般情况下就是不同的颜色,以便指挥官和士兵在战场上分辨敌我。每个阵营有3种不同的装备,尽管大体上看起来很相似,但是统计一看就会发现不同。
部队:
步兵:
列装火枪和大量弹药。远距离使用火枪,进程切换刺刀,并且可以抵挡大部分正面袭来的敌人。有些阵营的步兵则装备弯刀或马刀,而非刺刀。
散兵:
这些人是纯粹的射手,使用步枪远程攻击敌人。该兵种只配备非常脆弱的单兵武器用来自卫,所以最好让他们和敌人保持距离。
骑兵:
相比横冲直撞,骑兵更适合被用于战术性用途。因为对于火枪来说骑兵是一个巨大的目标,而且时至今日骑兵们的盔甲已经不能像以前一样保护他们了。典型的骑兵配备有快又有力的马刀/剑,骑枪/手枪/卡宾枪。这些价值高昂的骑兵最好是在战术进攻的时候使用,既当你的其他部队已经和敌人处于胶着状态时。
阵营:
每个阵营有不同的大环境和战略,并且应该用不同的方法去游戏。有些时候一个阵营会有优势,比如处于山地地形的罗多克部队;而在另一种情况就大不相同了,比如处在平原地形的罗多克部队。

(沙皇制)
维基亚是马上的民族,在与斯瓦迪亚,库吉特,特别是于诺德人的战斗中,他们发现马上的射手对付敌人十分有效。他们的骑兵(原型哥萨克)则是骑兵中最优秀的射手,使用卡宾枪——一种特别为马上的精准射击而设计的火枪。维基亚的龙骑兵甚至可以在全速的状态下瞄准开枪,而斯瓦迪亚人的龙骑兵则需要下马才能射击(那还是龙骑兵吗…)。该阵营的精准射手和步兵则没有什么出彩的地方。

(选举制)
诺德人一直为自己的力量和勇气而自豪,而且这种传统一直发展至今。最出色的诺德士兵们可以被选出为国王效力,获得最高的荣耀——成为皇家侍卫的一员。由于缺少马匹,诺德人的确缺少了一些战术,但是多亏他们的训练,可以补足这一点缺憾。毕竟他们可是诺德人!!(没马骑的汉子你威武雄壮~)

(帝国制)
斯瓦迪亚被其他国家包围着,并且依然保留着他们骑兵至上的传统。斯瓦迪亚的步兵并不是很出色,所以一直都需要骑兵的补救。他们有关于枪兵的训练,培训骑兵使用骑枪和剑来攻击对方的骑兵部队。该阵营也拥有龙骑兵编制,但是严格来说他们并不是真正的骑兵,因为他们使用步兵火枪,必须下马才能射击。龙骑兵的出现意味着向火器时代的进化,而且这些人已经完全取代旧战场上的骑士制度。但是,龙骑兵们依然使用近身武器和剑,而出于对自己剑术的自豪,他们每个人都是很优秀的剑士。

(共和制)
罗多克人无论现在还是将来都一直是大山的孩子,而且他们对骑兵的厌恶从未改变。因为滑膛枪和步枪非常适合在罗多克山区使用,罗多克人大多的训练都是关于火器的。其中最好的神射手可以晋升为代表精英和荣誉的狙击手职阶,而对于火枪的投入使得他们拥有全大陆最强的散兵编制。

(帝国制)
萨兰德苏丹的兵种制度将会借鉴奥斯曼帝国和其他地区部队,常年与库吉特人的战火使得萨兰德与其他国家相比会显得有一点“过时”。由于苏丹的战士需要过硬的近战武器与库吉特部落战斗,所以他们会相对更擅长近身格斗。

(可汗制)
库吉特人一直以来都是骑兵主力,大部分的部队都是骑兵编制,低级别的步兵则也需要学习步战的技巧。他们有列装步兵滑膛枪,但是没有步枪。当你的人马半数都是骑兵的时候,谁又需要步枪呢?
兼容性:
本MOD由于加入了武器和装备与其他MOD存档并不兼容。支持骑马与砍杀1.143或以上版本,1.154steam版本测试可用。在过旧的游戏版本上无法运行本MOD。

Muskets, of course!
Become Emperor of Calradia!
All of the original m&b: warband options are left in game,
so you can make your kingdom in the imperial era!
Especially with the added companions the start of your
kingdom can be more realistic as you promote your friends
into positions of power.
Fight in a brand new style!
Muskets change the way the game works completely, no
longer is the knight lord and master but victory comes
trough leadership and good use of your army's strengths.
Weapons&outfits:
This mod adds 4 classes of weapons that did not exist in the
vanilla game. Since v1.1 all rifles and muskets have unique
sounds.
Infantry muskets
These medium ranged muskets are a balance between
firepower and accuracy, and also function as Melee weapons
should the need be there, with a rather potent bayonet
(pierce/thrust) and a lesser potent shaft (blunt/swing).
Press X while holding these muskets to switch between
mode (like javelins). Due to their size they cannot be used
on horseback.
sa
These slow but long range rifles are lethal at even the
greater distances, but take a long time to reload. By far the
most accurate guns these are the obvious choice for hunters
and marksmen alike.
Due to their size they cannot be used on horseback, and due
to the tricky reload mechanism users of these guns MUST
remain stationary while loading.
Pistols.
These short and small guns are mostly used by the Elite or
cavalry based troops, being a short range weapon they
reload significantly faster then any other musket, but they
pay in accuracy.
Carbines.
These medium sized muskets are basically Infantry muskets
for cavalry, with a shorter barrel these are small enough to
be used on horseback, but larger and more accurate then
pistols. Made with a stronger blast chamber then pistols
they can hold a bigger powder charge and with that, a
bigger blast. these are mostly used in combination with an
alternative melee weapon.
Outfits:
Every nation has their own outfit, usually in their own
distinct colour, this allows commanders to see their own
and their enemy formations from great distances. It also
helps the troops from figuring out if friend or foe, every
nation has three types of outfits, although usually the same
in statistics they tend to look very different.
Troops:
Infantry
they have their musket, and a lot of bullets. They use their
musket for melee and ranged alike, and are capable to hold
their ground against most that comes their way. Some
factions use scimitars or sabres for melee weapons rather
then a bayonet.
Skirmishers
These men are gunners trough and trough, they use a rifle
to shoot their enemy from a distance.
These men have only a weak melee weapon to protect
themself, so it is advised to keep them away from the
enemy.
Cavalry
Cavalry is more of a tactical asset then a powerhouse, being
a big target has disadvantages in the age of blackpowder
and armor does not help you as it did in ages past, typicaly
cavalry has a fast but able sabre or sword, and either a
lance, pistol or carbine. These men are expensive and for
that best used as a tactical hammer against an enemy
allready pre-occupied against your other troops.
Factions
Every faction has his own unique situation and strategy and
should be played in another way, Sometimes a faction
might be stronger in a certain situation (rhodoks on a hill)
when in other cases this same faction has very little chance
(rhodoks on flat plains).

the forum. It's open for suggestions!
Vaegir Tzardom
The Vaegirs are the men of the horse, having to battle the
Khergits, Swadians and especially the Nords they found out
that guns on horses work really well for them, and their
cavalry (think Cossack) has some of the finest gunners.
using the finest muskets specially designed for horseback,
the carbine, these men are superior to dragoons in their
ability to shoot at full speed, a swadian dragoon needs to
dismount to shoot.
Their marksmen and infantry are considered to be nothing
special.
Any suggestions can be made here.
Nord Electorate
The nords always have and always been proud of their
bravery and strength, and this tradition has not been lost.
The best nord soldiers get the greatest honour in service to
their king, Membership of the Royal Guard.
Lacking horses, they do lack tactical options but this is made
up thanks to their training, they are nords after all!
Nordic soldiers get increased melee stats all round, making
a Nordic Bayonet charge the most dreaded sight in the
world.

Holy Swadian Empire
The swadians are surrounded, and this has led their
tradition of horseback fighting to remain important.
Their infantry is not really that strong, the pride of the
horsemen has saved them every time.
they have access to lancers, cavalry trained to charge and
hunt down other cavalry, with lance and sword.
They also have the dragoons, these men are not really
cavalry in the sense that they use an infantry musket, and
have to dismount to shoot. The dragoons are formed as an
adaptation to the use of gunpowder and they completely
replaced the knights on the field of battle. They can still
however use their sabre to fight in the melee and their
proudness in their swordsmanship has led them to become
very fine swordsmen indeed.
Rhodoks Republic
The Rhodoks are and will always be men of the hills, and
their dislike for cavalry has remained the same.
Because muskets and rifles work so well in the rhodok lands
they are better trained for this, their best marksmen get
promoted to the honourable and elite sniper rank and their
devotion to their rifle has made them the finest skirmishers
in calradia.
Sarranid Empire
The sarranid sultanate will borrow troop styles from both
the ottoman empire and other regional forces, they will be a
bit more "old fashion" then the other kingdoms because of
their conflict with the Khanate.
The men of the sultan need to have better melee weapons
to fight the Khergit horde and so they will get better melee
weapons.
Khergit Hetmanate
The khergit Khanate has and allways will be horsemen, most
of their troops ride a horse and their lower class infantry
still needs to learn how to fight on foot. They have access to
infantry muskets but not rifles, who needs rifles when half
your army is cavalry?
Compatiblity:
This mod is not compatible with other mod savegames, as it
adds weapons and outfits.
it is made for M&B: Warband v1.143 or higher, tested on a
steam version v1.154
It will not work on an outdated version of M&B: Warband
(if you cracked the game, tough luck, buy a key), or on any
other version of M&B (eg: normal or WFAS), WARBAND
ONLY.
