So we have new mod here, well its only next of those stupid anouncments you think, well maybe it is, maybe not, time will show that
So whats going on here
Nema and me have decided to make fantasy mod for MaB, itl be about island kingdoms where many races live, well particulary there are 5 basic races : human race ( there might be some subraces like mountainers, tribesman, noblemen and so on ), elves (subclases arent clear yet, but probably night, high and forest elves), dwarves (if we get sceleton support) orcs ( same here, if we wont, theyl be just green men ) and hell spawn ( this will be basicaly main enemy, theyl be guarding relic items in shrines, u will have quests to clear graveyards of these, so there would be really big numbers of different classes for different purposes, but more about this later) and than, there would be some creatures from outher space, but they doesnt count as single race, because theyl be seen very rarely, for example at teleports. Your avater, probably human, will be random adventure, same as hundreds of another adventurers this world have, your father have told you about mighty relics hiden all aroun the world, and so you dream about killing monsters, discovering ancient secrets and fighting all the bad powers in the world right from your childhood. Our world features 5 big islands, one race on each and 6 smaller islands plus your home island where is your home and village that will be highly customable, maybe you would be able o gain some colonies on other islands but that isnt very likely. Each big island is one main gain level that consist of, probably, 5 story quests like gaining some artifact, defeating bandit lord draining this land, or helping in castle defence. Than there would be side queste like growing your child that may follow you in battle ( you must be married to do this ) or help some villages by things like clearing graveyards or getting some items for them, quests will be very various so dont worry, it wouldnt be boring and wouldnt get ill from all that brainless monster bashing this is basicaly all for begining, so let us know what you think about this conceps, all suggestions (inteligent, not like "ADD MASTA CHIIIF" ) are welcome

MAP :
5 main islands ( one island one race, hell spawn is everywhere, few race members are everywhere )

RACES :
ELVES
noble fighters, they prefer fight from distance, far away from blood that would splatter theyr beautiful armors they are
deadly with bow and arrow, but not that efective with crossbow. They can aswell use swords, but axes, hammers and
other heavy weapons arent what they like.
ORCS
Big and dumb, very dumb... ladyes and gentlemen, orc is comming, these creatures are madest wariors in the world, whitch
doesnt mean they are the best ones. Theyr battle style is " HAAAAR, I GO, I SLASH, I KILL", well its not that very efective
when such an orc aproach elven archers dont u think ? This race prefer big swords and axes, so theyr attacks are very
strong, but slow too. Theyr not very technicaly talented, so they can get weapons by stealing from dead enemies, or
making theyr own weapons from scraps they get all around the world, well it doesmt look like that but tree trunk can be
deadly weapon
HELL SPAWN
These creatures are everywhere, as all othere races, they have theyr own island, whitch acts as last level. Hell spawn is all from sceletons, zombies, vampires and
some minor demons to apocaliptical riders, huge minotaurs and one ( or three ) eyed giants, well we are limited by MaB engine so they all have human similiar
bodies ( some have bigger muscles, some longer legs or wider shoulders but dont expect 4 leged beasts with 6 arms
QUESTS :
collect artifact weapon/clothes ( main quest)
anihilate spoiled shrines ( main quest)
get married, grow up your child ( probably main quest )
defeat enemies ( mainly side quests)
defeat bandit lord ( side quests)
get resources for villages ( side questes)
upgrade weapon ( mainly side quests)
various sea traveling quests (both main and side quests)

BASIC GAME FEATURES
BATTLE SYSTEM
As mentioned before, itl be more aimed for man to man combat, your adventure party will be something arount 10 men . in tombs and holy places will be
few very strong enemyes ( 20 heavy armored sceletons, or demons or somethink like this ), on the other side, forests, graveyards and such things will be full
of weaker enemies ( 200 sceletons, zombies or maybe lower vampires, just something like that ). Main advantage of tomb monsters will be their power, main
advantage of graveyard monsters will be theyr number ( they can be one-hit-one-kill but still theyr 20 against one )
ARMOR
this will be one of unigue thing here ( well at least i think that ), armors would be VERY different, at the begining you gain some leather scraps that have like 5 armor and
high end armors will have something around 350 for example. There will be big difference betveen ranger and fighters armors too, because armor that have 350 AP is
tank panzer, and it is useless for archer to be tank, so ranger can have armor tht weight almost nothing, but have only 100 AP for example
WEAPONS
There will be A LOT of them ( we alredy have something around 50 new pieces including some artifact pieces ). we are planing to add as much as we can, but we
dont want to overstuff it, its useless to have 2 swords with same stats but different modl right, so wer trying to do it well balanced. Mostly seen kind of weapon will
surely be sword, than axes and bows, hammers and polearms and at the end crossbows. We dont want firearms because it wouldnt look good here, but who knows,
somebody may like it
BLACKSMITH
There will be three blackmith ranks - first can make basic weapons, second can make advanced and basic weapons, and third can combine and upgrade advanced weapons. It would work like quest : u get quest to get for example 3 woods, 1 iron and 2 leathers, u get it all and talk to blacksmith, and blacksmith would give u finished weapon -these weapons would have some advantages like it would be "sharpened" or something like that, and you couldnt buy this improved weapons in shops. So it would push you to make blacksmith quests.
ARMORER
This will work generaly same as blacksmith. So, there are 3 ranks : basic (make armors of supplies like leather, cloth, nails or chainmail ) advanced (uses materials as iron, steel, metal, mithrill or other magic ores. This one can combine basic armors with advanced ones, or advanced ones with advanced ones to get even better suit ) and third class would be very special - artifact smith ( this one make epic armors from pieces of armor like shoulder guards, separate plates, dragon throusers and such. You would get these parts from enemies and in crypts)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
TEXTURERS
You must know how to use wings or other software.
It would be good, if youl know how to use Gimp or Photoshop.
You must know how to make and modifi materials in BRFedit.
Models textured by you must look nice .
SCENE EDITOR
Scene editing program must be familiar to you.
Scenes made by you must look nice .
ADVANCED CODER
You must be really advanced, because we need you for things like quests, blacksmiths and so on.
Scripts made by you must work well, but there is no need to make them look nice
MUSICIAN
You must play some music instrument ( we dont need human voice).
Not every music genre would fit this, so remember that.
CONCEPT ARTIST (paper)
You must have lot of imagination.
We need concepts for scenes, armors and weapos.
Your drawings must look nice
If you are interested, than you must show us some samples of previous work.
You must be very patient, we need you not to drop after week of work.

包括5个主要岛屿(一个岛上一个种族,地狱族实际上到处都有,那些罕见的种族也是到处都有)

种族:
精灵
精灵是些高贵的斗士,他们更希望从远处攻击敌人,因为他们不希望敌人的血溅落在他们美丽的护甲上.持弓箭的精灵十分致命,但是他们并不适合使用弩.精灵的剑术不赖,但不适合使用斧、锤等重型武器.
兽族
体型巨大,但是十分脑残.真的很脑残...先生们,女士们,兽出没注意!这些生物是世界上最疯狂的战士,但这不表示他们是最强的战士.他们的战斗理念包括:"哈啊,我跑,我砍,我杀",看似简明,实际上并不总能有效实施,想想看,这么简陋的战术怎么可能接近精灵弓箭手呢?这个种族喜好使用重剑和巨斧,因此他们的攻击伤害极高,但也十分缓慢.他们对技术方面不在行,所以只能从杀死的敌人身上得到装备,或者把从世界各地拾荒得来的垃圾打磨成武器.如果什么都没有,他们就只好随便拔棵树冲上战场(鲁智深??),虽然看起来并不像武器,但是在兽人手中,即使是树干也有巨大的破坏力.
地狱鬼族
这些生物遍布这个世界,和其他种族一样,他们有自己的主岛,而这个岛屿将是玩家的旅途目的地.地狱族包括骷髅,僵尸,吸血鬼和小恶魔等低级物种,也包括末日骑士, 弥诺陶(牛头)以及单眼(或者三眼)巨人等大型恶魔.这个MOD受骑砍系统的限制,只能采用类似人类的身体来充当骨架了..(有的只是加上了强壮的肌肉, 有的把腿拉长了,还有的把肩膀拉宽了.至于那些三头六臂的诡异生物,即使在是我们<白日梦>MOD里,也别想看到....)
任务系统:
收集远古神器(主要任务)
清理被玷污的圣地(主要任务)
结婚生子(应该算主要任务)
打败敌人(基本上属于次要任务)
打败强盗领主(次要任务)
为村民收集资源(次要任务)
升级武器(基本上算次要任务)
大量航海任务(包括主要和次要任务)
...
主要的游戏特征:
战斗系统
就像刚刚提到的,我们将MOD设计为以抓对单挑作战为主体.玩家的部队将维持在10人左右,而在那些坟墓墓室或者圣地中,你们将面对数量少但实力强大的敌人(比如20个重甲骷髅或恶魔等等),另一方面,在森林,坟场以及其他地点将全部是一些数量大但相对弱小的敌人(例如200个小骷髅,僵尸或者低等吸血鬼之类).墓室里的怪物优势在于质量,坟场里的怪物优势则在于数量(它们可能一刀就倒,但是数量可是玩家部队的20倍).
盔甲
盔甲中有一项我认为很独特的特性(请注意,是作者认为如此...要围观,我加入...),这些盔甲包含完全不同的类型,比如玩家刚开始游戏就会得到防御5 左右的破烂皮制衣服,而游戏接近尾声的时候大概能入手防御350左右的装备了.射手和近战战士的护甲也很不相同,因为350防的护甲属于坦克装,射手穿坦克装实在是没有任何意义..这些射手应当穿的护甲是那些几乎没有重量,防御100左右的轻型护甲.
武器
武器的数量应该很多(我们引入了大约50件武器,包括一些神器),我们计划尽可能加入新的武器,而又不至于太过泛滥,比如出现两件属性相同但模型稍异的武器是毫无意义的.我们正在努力让武器系统更加平衡.游戏中最常见的武器就是剑类,然后是斧类,弓类,长杆类,最后是弩类.我们不想加入火器,因为火器放进此MOD似乎不大美观.谁知道呢,可能有人会喜欢吧.(其实矮人应该是玩火枪的...)
铁匠系统
铁匠能力分为三等 - 第一等可以制作基本的武器,第二等可以制作基本武器或者高级武器,第三等则可以组合和升级高级武器.本系统将以任务的形式体现.例如:你收到收集3份木料,1份铁和2份皮革的任务,你在收集好物品后和铁匠对话,而铁匠会将制作好的武器以任务奖励的形式给你.做好的武器可能带有前缀奖励,比如"锋利的"等等,而商店里实际上是不出售这类前缀物品的.所以,你可以把这个系统视为强制玩家去做铁匠任务...
制甲师系统
本系统和铁匠系统基本原理大体相同.同样分为三个等级:入门级(制作以皮革,布料,铁钉或者锁子链为原料的护甲),进阶级(采用铁、钢等金属,贵重金属或魔法石等材料制作护甲,这一级可以通过将普通护甲与高级护甲融合或将两种高级护甲融合的方式取得更佳的护甲),以及极其特别的神匠级(这一级可以以肩铠, 分段式板甲或者龙皮裤等为原料制作史诗级盔甲.这些原料可以从那些盘踞在墓室等地方的敌人手中缴获)
